Large white Arabic numerals, the signature triangle at 12 o'clock, rhodium-plated Super-LumiNova® hands and the balanced tri-compax chronograph layout ensure immediate readability. The small-seconds hand, highlighted in red, adds a subtle sporting touch while making the running seconds easy to identify. Its column-wheel architecture ensures smooth and precise chronograph operation, while the 46-hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) provide reliable everyday performance. Staying true to IWC's aviation heritage, the convex sapphire crystal features anti-reflective coating on both sides and is specially secured against sudden pressure drops during flight.
