The Pilot's Watch Performance Chronograph 41 AMG IW388304 is the result of the long-standing partnership between IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG. Sharing a common passion for innovation, precision and performance, both manufacturers have created a chronograph inspired by modern motorsport while preserving the iconic DNA of IWC's Pilot's Watches.

A design inspired by high-performance engineering

The 41 mm case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, a material widely used in motorsport and aerospace thanks to its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. The deep black lacquered dial is complemented by rhodium-plated hands and applied markers coated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. A fixed black ceramic bezel incorporates a tachymeter scale, allowing average speed calculations while reinforcing the watch's unmistakable racing character.

The IWC manufacture calibre 69385

Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385, an automatic chronograph movement featuring a precise column-wheel architecture. Developed and assembled in Schaffhausen, it delivers exceptionally smooth chronograph operation while displaying the hours, minutes, small seconds, 30-minute counter and 12-hour counter. Its 46-hour power reserve ensures reliable everyday performance, while the sapphire crystal case back reveals the beautifully finished manufacture movement.

The combination of Grade 5 titanium and black ceramic reflects the engineering philosophy shared by IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG. Titanium provides exceptional lightness and strength, while ceramic offers outstanding scratch resistance and long-term durability. The black rubber strap features the EasX-CHANGE® system, allowing effortless strap changes without tools.
