The purity of a black dial

This reference features a clean matte black dial directly inspired by cockpit instruments. Free from a date display and power reserve indicator, it focuses on immediate readability through its large white Arabic numerals, signature triangle at 12 o'clock and generously luminescent hands. The 43 mm stainless steel case combines brushed and polished finishes, while the black calfskin strap reinforces the authentic spirit of historic pilot's watches. Thanks to the EasX-CHANGE® system, it can be changed quickly and without tools.

The in-house calibre 82100

Visible through the sapphire case back, the IWC-manufactured automatic calibre 82100 features the renowned Pellaton winding system with highly wear-resistant ceramic components for enhanced long-term reliability. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers a 60-hour power reserve while showcasing the manufacture's expertise in mechanical watchmaking.
