A cockpit-inspired display

The matte black dial follows the unmistakable design language of classic flight instruments. Large white Arabic numerals, the signature triangle at 12 o'clock, rhodium-plated Super-LumiNova® hands and the balanced tri-compax chronograph layout ensure immediate readability. A distinctive red small-seconds hand adds a subtle sporting touch. The 43 mm stainless steel case is paired with a black calfskin strap that enhances the authentic character of the watch while providing exceptional comfort on the wrist. Thanks to IWC's EasX-CHANGE® system, the strap can be changed quickly and without tools.

The in-house calibre 69385

Visible through the sapphire case back, the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385 showcases the manufacture's expertise in chronograph engineering. Built around a classic column-wheel architecture, it delivers exceptionally precise and smooth chronograph operation. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it provides a 46-hour power reserve and measures elapsed times of up to 12 hours. The double anti-reflective sapphire crystal is also specially secured against sudden pressure drops encountered during flight.
