Designed for maximum legibility

Its matte black dial faithfully follows the historic design codes of IWC pilot's watches. Large white Arabic numerals, the signature triangle at 12 o'clock, rhodium-plated hands and Super-LumiNova® hour markers ensure outstanding readability in every situation. The 40 mm stainless steel case combines brushed and polished finishes, while the refined five-link stainless steel bracelet provides excellent comfort and versatility. The convex sapphire crystal features anti-reflective coating on both sides and is specially secured to withstand sudden pressure drops experienced during flight.

The in-house calibre 32111

Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured automatic calibre 32111. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers an impressive 120-hour power reserve. Its bidirectional pawl winding system ensures highly efficient winding, while the soft-iron inner case protects the movement against magnetic fields, remaining true to the functional heritage of IWC pilot's watches.
