Since chronographs joined the Pilot's Watches collection in the 1990s, they have become one of IWC Schaffhausen's signature creations. The Pilot's Watch Chronograph IW378002 continues this legacy with a modern interpretation of a true cockpit instrument. Every element has been designed with functionality in mind, delivering exceptional readability, intuitive operation and outstanding everyday versatility.

A cockpit-inspired display

The matte black dial follows the unmistakable design language of classic flight instruments. Large white Arabic numerals, the signature triangle at 12 o'clock, rhodium-plated Super-LumiNova® hands and the balanced tri-compax chronograph layout ensure immediate readability. A distinctive red small-seconds hand adds a subtle sporting touch. The 43 mm stainless steel case is paired with a refined five-link stainless steel bracelet featuring polished edges and the EasX-CHANGE® quick-release system for exceptional wearing comfort.

The in-house calibre 69385

Visible through the sapphire case back, the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385 showcases the manufacture's expertise in chronograph engineering. Built around a classic column-wheel architecture, it delivers exceptionally precise and smooth chronograph operation. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it provides a 46-hour power reserve and measures elapsed times of up to 12 hours. The double anti-reflective sapphire crystal is also specially secured against sudden pressure drops encountered during flight.
