With the Presage Classic Series HCC002J1, Seiko celebrates another expression of Japanese craftsmanship through Aijiro, a delicate pale blue shade created using a light indigo dyeing technique. Admired for centuries in traditional Japanese textiles, this elegant colour symbolises serenity, purity and understated sophistication. The finely textured dial recreates the silky appearance of woven fabric, producing subtle reflections that shift beautifully as the light changes.
A perfectly balanced Presage Classic
This latest Presage Classic features a refined 38 mm stainless steel case designed for exceptional comfort on the wrist. Its dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating enhances the depth of the textured dial, while the multi-link stainless steel bracelet, inspired by 1970s watchmaking designs, reinforces its timeless elegance. A hard coating applied to both the case and bracelet helps preserve their finish against everyday wear.
The in-house Calibre 6R51
Powering the watch is Seiko's in-house automatic Calibre 6R51. Designed and manufactured entirely by Seiko, this movement offers an impressive power reserve of approximately 72 hours, ensuring reliable performance even after several days off the wrist. Visible through the screw-down transparent case back, it also features a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.

Water-resistant to 10 bar (100 metres), equipped with a sapphire crystal and a refined stainless steel bracelet, the Presage HCC002J1 is equally at home with formal attire or everyday wear.
