Tissot SRV: The Reinterpreted Art Deco Spirit
The Tissot SRV (Sapphire Rectangle V) takes its inspiration from the 1920s, a period marked by the rise of the Art Deco style and its bold geometric codes. This era influenced architecture, fashion, and the decorative arts, and today Tissot draws from it to offer a feminine timepiece with a strong rectangular silhouette.
Directly inspired by a 1975 Tissot model— itself a reinterpretation of the Maison’s earlier creations from the Roaring Twenties— the SRV fully embodies the brand’s creative continuity.
Timeless Elegance
The name SRV captures the identity of the model: Sapphire Rectangle V. Its scratch-resistant faceted sapphire crystal, cut like a jewel, reflects the light and enhances the elegance of its rectangular shape. The “V” refers to its water resistance up to 5 bar (50 m), symbolized by the Roman numeral V.
In this variation, the SRV features a deep and luminous sunburst silver dial, paired with a 316L stainless steel bracelet. Robust and comfortable, this metal bracelet is durable, easy to clean, and perfectly suited for everyday wear.
