The Tissot SRV (Sapphire Rectangle V) draws its inspiration from the 1920s, a time when the Art Deco movement established its bold geometric style across architecture, fashion, and the decorative arts. Directly inspired by a 1975 Tissot model— itself a reinterpretation of the Maison’s earlier creations from the Roaring Twenties— the SRV illustrates the brand’s creative and heritage continuity.
Refinement and Uniqueness
The name SRV reflects the essence of the model: Sapphire Rectangle V. Its scratch-resistant faceted sapphire crystal, cut like a jewel, captures the light and enhances the elegance of its rectangular silhouette. The “V” refers to its water resistance of 5 bar (50 m).
