In the space of a few years, the House of Glashutte has made its mark on the watchmaking scene with its modern-looking manufactured watches, created from scratch.

Founded in 1990, just a few months after German reunification, NOMOS Glashütte is based in Glashütte, the historic heart of German watchmaking. The Manufacture quickly established itself through its minimalist Bauhaus-inspired design, its growing expertise in developing in-house movements and its commitment to technical excellence. Today, NOMOS is recognised as one of Germany's leading independent watch manufactures, having received numerous international awards for both design and watchmaking.

The Maison develops and manufactures the vast majority of its movements in Glashütte, including its remarkably slim neomatik automatic calibres. NOMOS movements are designed, developed and largely manufactured in-house in Glashütte.
