True to the Grande Maison’s tradition, this calibre embodies a demanding approach to watchmaking, combining finesse, reliability and ingenuity.

Comprising over 200 components and operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, perfectly suited to daily wear. Its remarkably slim construction — just over 5 mm thick — preserves the elegant proportions of the case, a defining signature of the Reverso.

The true achievement of this movement lies in its ability to drive two distinct dials from a single mechanism. Thanks to an ingenious transmission system running through the movement, it powers the second time zone display on the reverse while maintaining coherent and fluid operation when the case is flipped.

Designed for intuitive use, the calibre 853A also incorporates practical adjustment features: lateral correctors for the date and moonphase, as well as a discreet trigger integrated into the case to adjust the second time zone in one-hour increments.
