A return to the roots

Since its creation in 1988, the Frédérique Constant brand has pursued a simple objective: to create quality Swiss watches at an affordable price and democratize Swiss Made luxury watchmaking. To achieve this, it offers watches with pure lines and meticulous finishing, all powered by reliable, high-performance Swiss calibers.

Today, the brand offers us a new variation of its Classics Première, which is exclusively intended for the European market, and we're going to be delighted! The formula for a perfect dresswatch? A successful marriage between a delicate salmon dial, Breguet numerals borrowed from classic watchmaking and a contemporary price: a simple equation for a dresswatch that stands out from the crowd.

Original, timeless aesthetic codes

For this new model, the brand goes back to the roots of classicism, which has defined timeless aesthetic canons over the centuries. The FC-301SAL3B6 features the same case as the other Classics Première models! It's a polished steel case 38.5 mm in diameter, 10 mm thick and 43.5 mm horn-to-horn. The watch's proportions are ideal: compact enough for a contemporary dress look, while avoiding the overly miniature appearance of some vintage models. Its elegantly curved case, topped by a convex sapphire crystal, offers optimal comfort and discreet refinement.

On the dial side, it's a no-brainer! The harmonious design of the Classics Première is enhanced by a salmon, almost rose-gold dial, a true watchmaking signature since the 1950s. This color, reinterpreted with modernity, appeals to vintage enthusiasts and new generations alike.

This is built in a “staircase” style with two different finishes. In the center of the dial, slightly set back, we find a grained texture and a circular satin-finish hour-circle: a timeless, prestigious composition of unmistakable elegance. It is crowned by three “hollowed apple” hands indicating the hours with 12 applied “Breguet numeral” hour markers. A subtle combination of tradition and elegance!

Finally, this watch is dressed up by a brown nubuck calfskin strap that fits like a glove, with a crocodile-style embossed pattern and white stitching. This gives it a relaxed feel without making it any less classy.

Mechanical side: a reliable, high-performance G100 caliber

This Classics Premiere Automatic features the self-winding FC-301 caliber, which simply hides La Joux-Perret's G100 caliber. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable 38-hour power reserve and, above all, an attractive finish. Visible through its transparent caseback, the timepiece exposes its mechanical intimacy and the finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as Côtes de Genève, circular graining and blued screws, without limit.
