Seiko makes a bold statement with the very first official Pepsi watch: the Seiko 5 Sports SRPL99K1. Featuring a 38 mm stainless steel case, an iconic red and blue bezel, and the automatic 4R36 caliber, this limited edition of 7,000 pieces celebrates the spirit of the ’90s and comes in a unique collector’s Pepsi can-shaped box.
A unique collaboration: Seiko 5 Sports × Pepsi
Watch enthusiasts have always given nicknames to the models that left a mark on them. Among these, “Pepsi” is undoubtedly the most famous, attributed to watches with a red and blue bezel that instantly evokes the iconic beverage. Long considered an unofficial nickname — passed on to the GMT from the crowned brand, the Seiko SKX, or even some Prospex models — this term takes on official status in 2025: Seiko formalizes its partnership with PepsiCo and unveils two limited edition watches, including the Seiko 5 Sports SRPL99K1.
This move perfectly illustrates Seiko’s ability to play on multiple levels: watchmaking seriousness, cultural reference, and accessibility.
A compact, retro and confident design
The SRPL99K1 takes on the aesthetic of the Seiko 5 Sports SKX collection, but in a more contained 38 mm size, in line with today’s trend for versatile timepieces suited to all wrists. Inspired by the 1990s Pepsi logo, it features a sunray silver-white dial with blue hands and indexes coated in Lumibrite, and a retro Pepsi logo at 6 o’clock.
The red and blue unidirectional bezel reinforces this instantly recognizable character, recalling both the classic SKX models and the colorful world of pop culture. More than just an aesthetic variation, this model symbolizes the encounter of two icons: accessible Japanese watchmaking and one of the most recognizable brands worldwide.

Inside beats the dependable Seiko 4R36 caliber. This modern automatic movement ticks at 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers a 41-hour power reserve. A hacking seconds function, manual winding, and day/date display complete a package designed for everyday practicality.
