The Millésime collection: between heritage and renaissance

Inspired by pocket watches and timepieces from the 1930s to the 1950s, the Millésime collection is a manifesto for Raymond Weil. Returning to fundamentals—controlled proportions, sectorized dials, legible complications, and understated volumes—the Geneva-based Maison presents a new kind of dress watch: modern in its execution, timeless in its attitude.

This reference with an anthracite dial offers a dark and elegant interpretation of the Millésime design, with a more contrasting, deeper tone for a more assertive aesthetic.

Dial: geometric balance and nuances of light

Under the domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, an anthracite sectorized dial unfolds, structured according to three perfectly calibrated concentric circles:

• The hour track with a smooth finish, punctuated by silver-printed baton hour markers.
• The central minute track, decorated with a spiral pattern, with a circular texture subtly visible depending on the angle of the light.
• A finely brushed vertical central zone, creating a gentle visual tension and controlled depth.

A barely perceptible central cross visually divides the dial into four subdials, structuring the reading without detracting from the overall simplicity.

At 6 o'clock, the small seconds are set in a recessed disc, perfectly integrated into the overall geometry. This interplay of reliefs contributes to the dial's dynamism while enhancing legibility.

The silver-toned dauphine hands are precisely faceted and coated with Super-LumiNova®, emitting a subtle glow in the dark. Each hand stops exactly at the correct visual limit of the corresponding circle, highlighting the attention to detail.

Case and bracelet: discretion, contrast, efficiency

The 39.5 mm stainless steel case, 10.25 mm thick, offers a perfect presence on the wrist. It combines vertical satin finishes on the bezel and polished finishes on the bevels, while the lugs feature a contrasting polished/brushed surface, reinforcing the sense of depth even on a deliberately understated case.

The whole is mounted on a supple black grained calfskin strap, decorated with a “W” shaped topstitching, a discreet but significant emblem. The closure is a polished steel ardillon buckle, in perfect harmony with the overall spirit of the piece.

Movement: proven mechanics, uncompromising simplicity

The engine of this watch is the RW4251 caliber, based on the Sellita SW261-1. This Swiss automatic movement offers:
